Located just outside of the village centre on Overy Road, next to the famous Mable's Sweet Shop, the Burnham Market gallery houses the very finest original works from a number of extremely high achieving and well respected artists.
Set in a Grade II listed building with a traditional large open brick and flint fireplace, the gallery is intimate yet spacious. Rustic beams, exposed brickwork and untreated floorboards are interspersed with beautiful examples of the best of modern contemporary art spanning a number of different mediums and subjects.
To exhibit in the gallery, an artist needs to either be a member of a Royal Society that is recognised by the Federation of British Artists, have had work accepted into one or more of their annual exhibitions at the Mall Galleries in London or be internationally represented. Our focus is entirely on the high quality of the work that we display.
Exhibitions are run all year round and so the walls change very regularly. If you are looking for something specific, it is always advisable to call us first to make sure we physically have the painting or print that you are coming to see available and in the right location to save you any inconvenience.
To find the gallery, we suggest parking in the main Foundry Place car park. Once parked, walk down to the entrance of the car park and turn left away from the village centre, we are a short walk away down the Overy Road. Parking here also gives you a great central location to leave your car and explore the villages many other shops, galleries and eating establishments.
If you are tight for time, or coming specifically to see us, parking is available at the back of the gallery although this can get very busy especially during peak season.
